The only bit of success I had was with Delia Smith&#039;s recipe found on youtube, the recipe shows heating the oil on top of the cooker to smoke hot, I followed to the letter but, when I placed it in the oven it simply stopped rising.

Looking at the recipe in the above post, it says use one egg when, on Saturday kitchen (from memory) they used at least 6.

Will certainly give this a shot, thanks!
